  1. I have been reading quite a bit about the Pineapple Juice battery charging... but I am now confused. Some posts say to have the power switch on... some say off, some say charge until pack is green, some say charge until plug is red... Some speak of multiple lights....

    So....

I have the "elite kit" (http://hakshop.myshopify.com/collections/wifi-pineapple/products/wifi-pineapple-mark-v-elite-kit-upgrade) with a battery with only one light on it. The charger also has a single light on it.

Do I charge it until the adapter is green, or red? Do I charge it with the light on the pack itself is red, or green, or do I leave the switch off?

    confusing sources, different juices:

  2. Also, make sure you are not using the battery plug when powering the pineapple, made that mistake a few times myself.

Wait a second.... is this documented somewhere not to do this? I was hoping to only have to carry one power adapter in the case... so I need to carry two? One for when I am plugged directly into the wall, and the second for when it is connected wall-to-battery-to-pineapple?

  3. Just in the interest of documentation, from post #1 at https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/30616-wifi-chipset-question/ the AR (closest to the LEDs) is the "AP" by default, and the antenna on the other side is the RTL that is used for "client connections."

AR chipset = WLAN0 = "Right side" of picture above

RTL chipset =WLAN1 = "Left side" of picture above

I hope this might clear up newbie the question I had, as I may want to "boost" one side or the other, and didn't know what side to connect the yagi or panel to.
