  1. Ive recently had to re-flash my Pineapple. The reason why is not really important. So anyway here is the loop....

    - Re-Flashed MKV

1 Asks me to press continue

2 Asks me to change password - which I do so, and tick both the EULA and software license, which I also do so, and hit Set Password when done.

3 The system is now completing the setup, Please wait while the system restarts - WAIT - Then hit Continue

    4. I'm then taken back to point 2.

    Heeelp!!!

  2. Having issues with sslstrip....

I've been trying for 2 weeks to get this working, but just being ignorant!

As soon as I start sslstrip, the webpages don't show on first attempt - I have to refresh the page for the page to show... Even this doesn't always work!. sslstrip also sometimes crashes (see capture) I get a line of:

    0Q0O0M0K0I0 +

I'm then forced to reboot the pineapple. I find this always happens on twitter.com, and randomly when it feels like it. I also find that when I reinstall the sslstrip infusion, it KIND OF works to begin with, as I have had it work on a couple of ssl sites but then goes all crappy after 5-10 minutes of usage.

    Hmmmmm......

  3. Sorry to sideswipe, but I have the same issue.....

    -Boot Pineapple

-Start Karma - Connect my laptop to Pineapple AP

-Can browse web on laptop fine

-Start sslstrip - Browsing is VERY intermittent

When I start browsing I get "this page cannot be displayed", however, if I refresh the page it appears, but this doesn't always work! and when it does it doesn't strip the ssl. However, it does occasionally work, but this is rare.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

  4. Hi there - Thanks for the reply --

So I have followed your instructions above, and am still getting same results. Its not having any effect on my AP. Jammer is sending deauth Packets to the AP's it can find, Jammer lists them and my test AP is in the list. So its definitely sending the deauth packets.

    -Boot Pineapple

    -Start Karma

    -Start WLAN1

    -Open jammer infusion

    -Select WLAN1

-Start Monitor Mode and select MON0 in the drop down box

    -Start Jammer

**NOTE: I have not made any changed to the configuration tab

My test router/AP has no wifi security set and the firewall is disabled. The test laptop is running Win7 with no Service Packs installed -- All pretty standard. I have reinstalled the fusion even reset my Pineapple -- All with same results..

Strangely when I close the Jammer infusion, my pineapple logs me out and am presented with the logon screen. Or if I stay in the Jammer infusion it also logs me out. When I log back in everything is disabled Karma WLAN1 etc. This wasn't happening before - This is new!!

    Any ideas......

  5. For testing I have a Zyxel Router with an AP (SSID - FUSION) and a laptop connected via wifi to it. The router has no internet just the wifi's AP running. I also have my MKV setup with Karma and Jammer - at this point the Zyxel router is further away from the laptop than the Pineapple. And the Pineapples signal is stronger.

When I enable Jammer it doesn't jam/deauth the laptop from Fusion although the jammer's logs says it has sent deauth packets. Tried this many times using different Interfaces and Modes etc. Not sure if im doing something wrong, could someone be kind enough just to put some instructions on how to use Jammer - Do I need to run Monitor Mode!!?? and what Interface should I use wlan0 or wlan1.

    Many Thanks

  6. Thanks for the reply guys - Very much appreciated.....

After more playing around, I've actually pinpointed what's happening - but still unsure why its doing, what's its doing......

When I first power on the MKV and enable KARMA and connect my test laptop to it, everything is fine, laptop can browse the web etc.... However as soon as I start an infusion SSLSTRIP or DNSSPOOF for example, the laptop's browser (IE) is getting "This page can't be displayed", but its very intermittent, after trying to browse to a few webpage it works, then stops, and only works on random webpages, then if I try a page that didn't show before, it appears - VERY RANDOM. It almost looks like a DNS fault, as I still have an IP address from the MKV and I can ping to websites, but just receiving "This Page can't be displayed" every now and again.

    Thanks

  7. So I've had my Pineapple for a few days and started to learn the in's and outs of the MKV. I'm quite comfortable with using Karma and the other features, but would like to take it to the next step, by going out and doing deauth attacks....

In an early edition of HAK5 Darren Kitchen had an airport challenge where he was using Karma with a newish feature (at the time) called airdrop-ng, he showed an example of it, and looked easy to use. It dosnt seem to be on the MKV, however the aireplay-ng feature is. I've come across aireplay-ng but never used it.

My question is, are these the same feature and how effective is the aireplay-ng command. Also is it possible to get the airdrop-ng command on the MKV.

    Thanks

  8. Might be worth to also mention that.....

My main PC, I have 1 RJ45 connector, which connects to my router/firewall, and to get the Pineapple connected I either use a USB to RJ45 connector (essentially a USB NIC card) and cable the to the pineapple OR I enable the WLAN1 and connect to my home AP. I can then either use the Pineapple IP (172.16.45.1:1471 or I use my home/normal IP (192.1687.39.3:1471) to GUI to the Pineapple.

Also im finding it difficult to post screen caps in this post.....

As far as I can see the ICS is being shared to the Pineapple connector and I have configured the Pineapple connector correctly as

    IP Address: 172.16.42.50

    subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

    D. Gateway:

    DNS: 8.8.8.8

Ive also tried sharing both the LAN and WLAN connectors with same results

    Thanks in advance.......

  9. So, I have recently got my MKV and started to play. The Pineapple has been setup and Firmware/Infusions installed and all updated.

So I have laptop (LAPTOP A) which I connect to the Pineapple for testing dnsspoofing, sslstrip and all the other fun stuff. I connect LAPTOP A directly to the Pineapples AP rather than using KARMA. LAPTOP A also has an IP address from the Pineapple. The problem I'm having is that LAPTOP A doesn't show webpages although it does have an internet connection through the Pineapple. ICS is definately working and configured correctly. I can see my public IP within the Pineapple GUI.

LAPTOP A is showing the internet icon in the Task management area and I can PING websites, its just the websites cannot be displayed. As a side note, webpages have been displayed but when it feels like it. But this is RARE!

I have also setup WLAN1 to connect to my home wireless and use that as the internet for the Pineapple - This has the same problem.

Without knowing this is working properly I cant go out and deploy the MKV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  10. .......with hopefully a simple answer.....

I have a clear understanding of what the Pineapple is and understand what it does and how it works.... but im unsure of one thing.......

    Scenario:

Laptop "A" connects to Router "A" via wifi at my friends home

I come in with my Pineapple and let it do its business, the pineapple sends deauth packets, finds probe requests and Laptop "A" then connects to the Pineapple....

    Fine.....

But what is stopping Laptop "A" from reconnecting to Router "A", is the pineapple doing something else to stop this from happening. Is the Pineapple more cunning than I thought!?

    Thanks in advance....
