  1. Having the same problem as you guys, powering mine off wall power. I go into the client tab and click on my AP to connect to and for some reason it shuts down my wlan0 interface.

    Heres my /etc/config/network

    config interface loopback
    option ifname lo
    option proto static
    option ipaddr 127.0.0.1
    option netmask 255.0.0.0

    config interface lan
    option ifname eth0
    option type bridge
    option proto static
    option ipaddr 172.16.42.1
    option netmask 255.255.255.0
    option gateway 172.16.42.42
    option dns 8.8.8.8

    config interface wan
    option ifname wlan1
    option proto dhcp

    config interface usb
    option ifname usb0
    option proto dhcp

    config interface wan2
    option ifname ' '
    option proto ' '
    option service ' '
    option device ' '
    option apn ' '
    option username ' '
    option password ' '
    option defaultroute ' '

  2. Yeah its firmly in there.

It worked before but now its dead.

Noob question here, but I formated the SD card but didn't back up the files on it that it came with, does the duck need those on the SD or just the inject.bin?

The inject.bin should be all that you need. Because that is your payload. Is the inject.bin on the root of the SD card?

  3. I got my USB Rubber Ducky today, and all was working, well, not that great. For whatever reason, the GUI command didn't work and the payloads were not going as planned.

Now to top it all off, the duck no longer works.

I have formatted the included card and a 2GB card many times over, tried a different PC etc to no avail.

Why is the light red now?

Also, the light turns green for a split second when plugged in before going red.

    Any ideas?

Is your sd card firmly seated on the board? When i first got my ducky i didnt push the sd card all the way down after i felt resistance when pushing and it was red, but after forcefully and carefully pushing it all the way down it worked.

  4. I tried the command Mr-Protocol posted and still no luck, when in the client mode tab of the network tile, i can see my pineapples SSID as an option to connect to whitch leads me to believe its using wlan1, but when i try to connect to my home SSID, the wlan0 blue light shuts off and comes back on and it says connection established when clearly its not.

    Here is my /etc/config/wireless

    config wifi-device radio0
    option type mac80211
    option channel 11
    option hwmode 11ng
    option macaddr 00:13:37:a5:08:73
    option htmode HT20
    list ht_capab SHORT-GI-20
    list ht_capab SHORT-GI-40
    list ht_capab RX-STBC1
    list ht_capab DSSS_CCK-40
    # REMOVE THIS LINE TO ENABLE WIFI:

    config wifi-iface
    option device radio0
    option network lan
    option mode ap
    option ssid Pineapple5_0873
    option encryption none

    config wifi-device radio1
    option type mac80211
    option channel 11
    option hwmode 11g
    option macaddr 00:13:37:81:42:73

    # REMOVE THIS LINE TO ENABLE WIFI:

  5. Hello all, my question is simple. I would like to know is it is possible to use the pineapples WAN port as a second LAN port for say another computer to connect to other the the PoE/LAN port. I would assume this is possible (and i just have no idea how to do it) due to the fact that its the WAN/"LAN" port. Sorry to sound like a big noob here but i really need help.

    Thanks -BOOB00

  6. You need to setup two different external ports and have them route to the appropriate internal IP:Port combo.

    What?

Thank you for the help! I will try that tonight. And with that i was trying to say that with both servers running, I can only ssh into the new one from outside my network.

You need to change the port of one of the servers, you cannot have them booth running on port 22 and port-forward both of them.

    Thanks newbi3!

Although i still have one question, even with the new server off I still can not even ssh into my old one from outside the network.

  7. Hello there,

I have had one server running Ubuntu server 10.04 for almost a year now going fine. I could ssh both from inside the network and outside. I recently came into getting another server, installed Ubuntu server 12.04 onto it. Now when outside the network I can only externally ssh into my new server. Even if the new server is off and disconnected from the network, and the old one is up and running. When i run the command "ssh (old)@[external ip]" it just times out. But when i run "ssh (new)@[external ip]" i get in fine. I need to be able to get into both servers externally. If it matters my old server has a static local ip of 192.168.1.142 and my new 192.168.1.110 I have looked all over the Ubuntu forums for help but none of the solutions have worked. Help is needed!!!!

    Thanks - BOOB00

  8. To get under the hood of the pineapple, there are screws under the rubber feet of the pineapple. I dont remember the exact procedure, but search it on these forums, i know its a thread. And the WLAN light, if its on then you know at least your pineapples wifi is up. Your txpower is at 18 whitch is should be. So my advice, look for that how to open the pineapple thread and check the cable.

  9. If i had to guess i would say its the internal antenna cable, have you checked to see if the antenna cable is loose? This has happened to many people and me. Its almost like the power of your pineapple slowly dies over time. And after close inspection you find that the cable was just loose and barley hanging on. Also do you know the txpower for the wlan0 interface of your pineapple? (iwconfig wlan0) Also, do you know if karma is working? When you run karma, are you seeing any probe requests?

  10. Newbi3, great infusion. As you know there is a typo under the configuration tab step 3 where it says "FilrewallRule allow tcp port 1471" to anyone who is going to post about this small typo, it should be "FirewallRule allow tcp port 1471". Great infusion man keep up the good work.

  11. when you run ifconfig do you have any interfaces up other than lo? And also check /etc/network/interfaces and post the contents of the file on here so I can help you more.

When i do ifconfig I have eth0 like i should, and i can put the interface up and down but still nothing. And the first place i looked was in /etc/network/interfaces and all is how it should be.

  12. Hello there everyone, I have had linux mint on my desktop for quite some time now. My problem is this: all of a sudden when booting up, it gets stuck at a black screen that says "waiting for network configuration" and then boots fine but with no networking at all. My desktop is connected to my router via ethernet. I have tried restarting my router, desktop, switching ethernet cables, ehternet ports on my router, using a wifi dongle instead but nothing works. To make matters better, when i am finally to the log in screen and login, my monitor goes black and comes back up about 4 times then turns compleatley white with like a hexagon pattern on the screen. Sometimes when i boot, after the waiting for network config screen and logging in I can get into the OS but when i click on my networking tab it says that my wired connection is unmanaged. Sorry for the legnthy post, any help would be grate!!

    ****EDIT****

One more thing to add, when i am in the OS i cant right click anything. I am using mint 15 Olivia.

  13. Hello everyone, I am running KALI on my laptop and am trying to do a little sslstrip. I have used sslstrip (with permission of corse) before. My problem is, when i issue the command echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward the value is only changed to 1 for all of a minute. It is self changing back to 0 whitch is clearly a problem when trying to use sslstrip. Any help or explination as to why this is happening is appreciated.
