ok.. my noobness has outdone me! followed this guide: http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=25882. and all good now.. opkg.conf was set to dest /home and the usb was an 8gb ext4.. but no swap configured. :P /chump

Hi all, Had my pineapple a few weeks now and used it a couple of times at demo's, etc (ettercap/wireshark) on local interface. Just updated to latest fw 2.0.0 and tried to install SSLstrip to USB.. the log goes as far as this and stops: Output Installing sslstrip (0.7-1) to usb... Downloading http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages/sslstrip_0.7-1_ar71xx.ipk. Multiple packages (libpthread and libpthread) providing same name marked HOLD or PREFER. Using latest. Multiple packages (libpthread and libpthread) providing same name marked HOLD or PREFER. Using latest. Installing python (2.7.3-1) to usb... Checking the packet capture its doesnt look to be hitting downloads.openwrt.org. I see the traffic from the list of modules available, so outbound traffic is not a problem...
