I'm having a problem installing Proxmox VE.
Here is the iso:
• proxmox-ve_1.8-5754-4.iso
I have verified the MD5sum is correct.
My hardware is:
• ASUS P7P55 LX LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
• KINGWIN KF-4000-BK 3.5" Internal hot swap rack raid-4 bay
• Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750
The four (4) HDD are setup into a RAID-5 array. When I load from the DVD I get to the initial splash image, hit return to start the installation and then the following gets posted on the screen:
"
ACPI: I/O resource 0000:00:1f.3 [0x4000-0x41f] conflicts with ACPI region SMRG [0x400-0x41f]
searching for cdrom

testing cdrom /dev/sr0
found proxmox cdrom
Starting Proxmox installation
Installing additional hardware drivers
Starting the hotplig events dispatcher: udevd.
Synthesizing the initial hotplug events...done.
Waiting for /dev to be fully populated...

It is at this point that the installation hangs. Any help would be very appreciated.

I'd look at S08E03 and watch the segment on Ampache or S07E26 on the python streaming solution. I've personally set up the python script one, but plan on trying out Ampache. These should be a good building block to at least get you started.
