This computer running XP boots in about 1 to 2 minutes, which is just enough time to brew some coffee so no complaints there. my Ubuntu machine boots in under 1 min so either machine really doesn't take to much time out of my day.

The ammount of media coverage the US election is getting in the UK, i think we should be able to vote. We probably know more than alot of the US voters by now.
I still dont get why there is soo much coverage of it in the UK, does CNN come on and say "David Milliband has announced...", no, they dont.
Are you saying you know more about America than this Lady.

Personally go through ~15gb a day... will have to cut back.
you must d/l alot of porn, i got 100gb limit a month but my isp does not monitor it, you can log into your online account and see what you are at at any time but i have checked and sometimes it shows no usage for so many days that i know should be like 5GB atleast. Most i have seen myself use a month was like 30GB to 40GB.

Episode 4x02
in Hak5
Good work on the new season, i just ordered some stickers as well. i just got a raise so i am feeling in the good sharing mood so i thought i would support something i enjoy.
Don't really know what i will do with the stickers as i think putting stickers on my Case or Laptop would not look good at all so i might stick them on a bus stop in thinking.

I started in 2006 sometime, season 1 was when i first saw the show.
i was thinking when i first saw the show and the only thing that comes to mind was when Harrison and Darren were talking about metasploit.

It would be really sad if Rev3 forum became the main forum for this show. i really see myself not goign to rev3 for the forum so much if thats the case, not that i post alot but i have gotten the art of lurking down pretty good.

Probably run on a quad core, 8GB ram fully tuned custom built laptop >.>
'Ohh, it's great!'
Until they try and ship it on a Celeron M 2.4 with 512MB RAM.
That's what i was thinking, anyone with decent computer knowledge would be able to ask some simple questions and see through it, but then those people would not make it to the video.

Dog and lizard on the way.

I wonder if this kid was dumb enough to use his real email address, someone could easily add him to this kind lists.

What kind of router is it usually they do a range of around 150 ip's. It would be strange if it was limited that quickly.
You can set IP filters on a router

Well basically a few years ago before I had a computer that could play decent games, I used to spend my time on the net, learning how to hack, learning how do web design and programming and spending time being fascinated by all the smart people I talked to on IM and on forums. Then one day my friend got me to start playing call of duty 1 with him and we played it for hours everyday. Here I am about 4 years later and I've completely lost my concentration, my passion and my mental ability. I find it hard to keep the concentration to read these days or learn anything which is why I didn't care about school and done crap this year.
I really need to get out of this so could you guys please offer any advice on how to get back into things of this nature? Anyone ever went through something like this? I've thought about uninstalling windows and forgetting about games and installing linux and that would you know make me learn and make me adapt and get me away from time wasting.
Like what should I get involved in programming wise really any advice that comes to mind just throw at me please.
I know this may not be the standard thread you get in this place but I really have no idea how to stop being such a detached day dreamer and get back to being a thinker. Thanks.
Wait until you have a girlfriend, your computer time will get taken away pretty quick.

I have used Winamp for years for music and has never let me down, for video i like VLC.

good place to start to get some experience if you cant afford to buy computers to put together yourself.
locations are limited to North America but i see them growing in time.
