  1. So basically I just want to be able to play Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source occasionally. The server list shows about 100 servers even though thousands of CS servers are available. When I try to join one I instantly get a message through Steam that says the server is not responding. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I'm using a Macbook Pro connected to a 22 inch widescreen Acer for my dualscreen set-up. I've been wondering though if it's possible to make warcraft 3 open on my Acer, which is my secondary monitor. Also I'd like to know if it's possible to somehow run the game in a window (i know command+m does this but it doesn't let you resize).
  3. Restarting doesn't seem to work.
  4. Pretty sure. Ran cmd, typed in ipconfig, got my ip (not the router gateway obviously but the actual ip) enabled udp and tcp on it over ports 6112-6119. Oddly it does not work though. After trolling the Vonage forums I haven't found much. My suspicion is that its got to be the vonage device.
  5. Just tried Shieldsup and it said ports 6112-6119 were stealthed.
  6. I know for a fact that the correct ports for warcraft III are forwarded in my router (6112-6119). Both tcp and udp protocols are enabled for these ports as well. The problem I am having though I think lies with my Vonage modem. So I call upon all hak5er's, could my Vonage modem be the issue?
  7. Luckily I had 4 gb of ram, I shoved 2gb of mine into his..... and it worked! problem solved, thx guys.
  8. I couldn't update it with any of the service packs because it just crashes way to quickly. When last I checked the bios it had the cpu at 30 degrees C which seemed unusually low. I'm passing by my friends house again today to check it out so I'll update with more info later. Thx
  9. I've actually just noticed a realtek driver issue, has anyone had any problems with it? Also during installation I got a memory error but it continued anyway. I'm gonna go for a 3rd install of windows. Again feedback is greatly appreciated.
  10. Cpu looks like it is running fine, it's seated firmly and the heatsink fan appears to be operational. The PSU is a 550 watter heat issues don't seem to be a problem as there are 5 fans in the thing. I took one stick of RAM out and had the same issues as with the two, ill check the 2nd tomorrow and post back.
  11. I just finished building a computer for a friend of mine however, it's having some serious issues. It constantly crashes and restarts. Mundane tasks such as starting internet explorer will set the thing off, crashing it. At this point I"ve installed windows twice but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. 12. I say this only because you seem to successfully answer each of my posts. Regards
  13. Digip you are like a God of this forum *applause*. Thx for the tips hacklings.
  14. I was wondering if any hacklings out there knew of any free(possibly priced) programs that could join multiple.avi files into a single file. I've tried a few and most suck. Any ideas?
  15. In a nutshell I have a Nyko power station, which in essence seems to work fine. However, whenever I use the plus, minus, or home buttons on my Wii the Wii remote completely shuts off. This never happened to me before with regular batteries, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the rechargeable ones.
