rss can filter out the shite? no.
-
just accidentally scrape your key along the side of his car...

i dont like bloggin, because it ties you into saying something regularly. if you dont post regularly you lose readers.
so i choose to just add an article to my site if i have something to say. or if it's something less important i'll post a bulletin on myspace. or if i want a certain opinion, ill find a forum.
i personally dont read blogs either. it's too time consuming, and mostly people write crap.

i dont get it... it already is a number... how can a number represent a number, whats the point in that?
-
i thought i already did need clearance to come to the US anyway?

How many MySpace users know what encryption is?
How many would know how to use it?
How many care?
if people cared about anything, myspace would be dead,...for about 3542 reasons.... stupid emos.

yeah i gotta agree on this one.
good - rss alarm clock
bad - drinks cabinet...nothing to do with anything? does it talk, is it evil? so..

lol if you use those passwords u must be a total tard, or u dont care if someone gets access to it... i often just signup with a very memorable bad password if im not bothered.
just use a combination of a-z0-9!"£$%^&*() in your passwords. whatever is memorable... say... my name could be...
m1k3wh!tehur$t ...good password i feel,...

VaKo, i know it sounds like that, and this is my first build, but i'm not a tard ok? I've followed all the manuals and did plenty of reading before i started. If it worked properly, it would be working.
Cooper, I dont understand why my HD doesnt make an activity-type noises, it's the only drive connected. The Mobo manual says nothing of beeps, it was probably made in korea or something, but I dunno how to check for whether I need to connect speakers or not, my case has no speaker. Ideas?
-
not really no, they all have top machines, this is me trying to repair a cheap machine... althought i've replaced the whole thing almost... the stuff isnt compatible.
i've bought...
2x mobo
2gb ram
1 gfx card
1 hd
1 dvdr
1 dvdrw
2 psu
2 processors
AND NOTHING WORKS. THIS SUCKS.
-
ok, the cpu fan spins fast.
the hdd led light comes on and stays on constantly, but theres no sound of activity on the drive, but would there be?
i have 2 sticks of ram, i tried each seperately.
i have no other mobo to try.
what do you think?
-
No. Without a CPU, all you get is the spinning up of fans and harddrives. Nothing else.
When the GPU is dead the system will still POST (you just won't see it) and typically beep 3 times to indicate it was unable to initialize the video card.
Sorry. Seems you really did own that CPU.
I put in a new CPU, and it made no difference.
When i turn the power on, the CPU fan spins, the HDD LED is on, and Power LED is on. The monitor still says 'No Video Input' (note that the monitor is fine, just tested it with my lappy). There are NO BEEPS.
Is it my GPU then? I thought there would be beeps?
Please Help!

could you tell me what those are?
-
yeah thats what everyone says, but i swapped the ram out.
so im trying the motherboard, just takes ages to wait for replacement.

Ok, Ill go looking. It is a major purchase in my opinion, I was brought up to know the value of a dollar, and not to waste 50 on something substandard.
u obviously dont know the value of jack shit, coz ur about to waste money on something you dont need. n00b

can i ask why you wanna put isos on a usb drive? if ur just transferring between machines there's this nice little usb to usb thing u can get. or if ur having to make multiple trips, get an external usb hard drive and do all ur files in one trip? it would help if i knew what ur trying to achieve, why are you caught up on speed?
-
OK, I got it earlier today, it did seem to be officially launched. I've been using it all day and here's what I have to say.
1. Most of my extensions are not compatible with it. As there appears to be no real reason to upgrade, ur probably better off not bothering. Edit: remember when your tabs overflowed off the edge... doesnt happen now, u can scroll side to side to get to your tabs.
2. In 1.5 there used to be a close tabs button to the right of tabs. 2.0 does not have this by default, instead there's an X on each tab, which is pretty ghey. You can change this back by loading the address 'about:config' and changing the value of 'browser.tabs.closeButtons' to '3'.
3. There seems to be a wierd little bug whereby the first time you click on a page, like to view source for example, the page scrolls right up to the top, so you basically have to click it twice.. dunno whats going on with it. I think if I was u i'd wait until the next version... 2.1 or whatever.

RAM Settings
in Questions
Posted
I'm wondering if anyone has an answer to my system instability problem.
asus p5w dh deluxe
geil 2x1gb 800mhz ddr2 4-4-4-12
core 2 duo 6300
OK, i've checked the manual, and it doesn't give a lot of information. However, previously the ram posted as pc2-5300. i went into BIOS and changed the details to 4-4-4-12 2.1V with a write recovery time of 4 which was default and there was no indication of what to set it to. these settings saw it post at pc2-6400 which is correct, however i got a bsod on driver loading. as there was no indication of what the write recovery time should be, i went to a few forums and checked people's settings, they generally seemed to be set to 3 instead of 4, so i made this change. i've now got into windows, and i'll run memtest again for the rest of the day. i dont know if this has solved the problem because it's intermittent, i'll just stress test a bit and see how it goes.
OK, the efforts described in my previous message were unsuccessful, the machine rebooted during memtest.
I've got hold of a copy of CPU-Z and it tells me some unexpected results as follows:
MEMORY>
DDR2 Dual 2048MB

FSB:DRAM : 2:3
cas 4.0
ras to cas delay 4
