[Android Device + Hidden Laptop/netbook?]

Wow thanks for all the replys I kinda forgot about posting so I surprised when I saw all the replys. All ideals were noted, now I'm thinking about getting a setup like described above.

Im getting a droid x very soon, on monday I hope and iv been looking at some stuff like vnc, ssh and other stuff. I had a pretty cool ideal (I think)an android devise connected to a laptop in a backpack decked out with a Jasager and backtrack 4 r2. Its more of a way to do your hacking in a more hidden way I guess. my questions are has anyone done this and is there a way to make a vnc connection with a usb to a computer from an android (because i have a data plan:( ).

Well I would just like to know if my ideal could be of use.

ok look iv been trying to set up this ssh server with open ssh in ubuntu and i have it downloaded but i can not find any tutorials on setting it up from installation to connecting to it from a outside machine. so if anyone could please link me a tutorial like that or even write one out which would be so awesome, i have a pretty good with linux so it wouldn't have to very detailed just how to correctly confiq it and generate a key and what ever else....

ok iv been looking around for a very long time but cant find any solid tutorial. so i have ssh running on my home laptop and i was looking to use it as a tunnel and ftp so can anyone refer me a tutorial how to config it and get a tunnel running......

Most linux distros come with OpenSSH installed by default. It's kind of the industry standard. The server daemon is sshd (Secure SHell Daemon). Google around and you will find tons of documentation as well as step-by-step guides for setting up sshd on your OS of choice.

it has pretty good cpu surprisingly, i would just like to know what anyone on the forum or hopefully the hak5 team would do if they would in my situation

ok im in high school and we have hp netbooks i dont know the exact model but any ways my friend knocked mine off a table broke it and i had to pay for it (i thought that was very unfair but thats another story) so now im getting the broken one and the only thing thats broken is the screen and i have an rgb cable so i can use my tv for a screen so i was thinking i could run a server off it or something im very not sure yet so if hak 5 could do segment on what to do with a speer computer....

also if hak 5 already did this could someone point me to the episode

ok im looking in to the jasager mark II and i was wondering what all dose it come installed with, and is there a tutorial made for ubuntu. preferably one that helps you set it up to connect wirelessly to it and show off what you can do with it???

umm im about to buy this but the version II and if i buy it from the hak5 store dose it come installed with every thing and ready to use right out of the package. and if so what are the wares need to get this going on Linux? p.s.
