Thanks for you help, i just ended up reflashing it and I used the 7.09 this time and everything is working great.

In the /etc the only file that i see is dnsmasq.options. I uninstalled dnsmasq then reintalled it and nothing new showed up. I found that if i go to /etc/config/dhcp there is 'config dnsmarq' there is then a bunch of setting under it. Is that something I might need to edit? I originally followed the jasager v2 tutorial on this forum to setup the router.

I was trying to make the rick rolling jasager. I was following what was done on bebo's blog (link below). But when I got to the part where he changed the /etc/dnsmasq.conf, I was unable to find it on my router. The only difference is that i am use openwrt 8.09 and it appears that he is using 7.09. that would probably work, but i dont really want to buy one. This router's default firmware is some version of Open-Wrt so i dont imagine it would be that hard to add Perl.

I was experimenting around with turning a open-mesh mini into a dns server for tunneling rather that having to have a dedicated computer. The router would just be plugged into my existing router and wireless would be disabled. I am currently using the default firmware and am using it as a ssh server which actually works pretty good. But in order to turn it into a DNS sever i would have to use the ozyman scripts which would require me to have Perl. I have no idea how to get Perl running on the router. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If you have any better ideas or see a problem with using this method let me know, thanks. -Curtis

Sorry i'm kinda new to this. Only thing i was really able find through searches on this site is people saying to do a search because it has already been answered here before. I dont mean to be annoying but if you could provide me with a link, it would very helpful. Maybe im just not looking in the right spot...

I was think about making a program that when you plug in your U3 flash drive it will autorun and then randomly turn on caps lock or other small stuff like that. Just like a prank/annoying type thing to play on someone. I have it mostly finished in c++ but I am having trouble figuring out how to make it run silently. I've done a few google searches and such but haven't found much. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
