Just to name a few, all are pretty much dead.  You have to remember to produce those costs money, time and effort and considering they will never make any money back on the time invested, once you lose interest or it because to time consuming (real life gets in the way) it’s no longer worth producing them anymore.

You also have the issue with IPTV that you will get little to no industry recognition, so the chances are IPTV is more likely to have an ill affect on your career, as your time could be better spent on new/current open source projects, security research or any number of things that would have a chance of improving your life and other peoples.

    Hi all

Amateurlogic isn't dead at all - it just went through a short hiatus and has reemerged somewhat revitalised.

Epsode 13 has been released and episode 14 is in production.

Amateurlogic now has an extra producer/presenter which should help reduce the individual workload a bit.  If anything we probably have the luxury of having to reduce the size of our contributions to fit it all in.

As to the comments re losing interest etc these are valid but there are ways around that problem.  Probably producing on a monthly rather than on a weekly or daily basis is less taxing and helps maintain interest.  Also not all IPTV show producers are interested in chasing $$$s.  Some people just like producing content - its a way of passing on stuff one is interested in to other people.  Never discount the fact that producing segments is fun and you get to meet a lot of interesting people.

Episode 13 probably isn't typical in that it is mainly hamfest content but the forthcoming Episode 14 will I think be a bit more varied.

I must give credit to George though who does all the editing - it is a lot of work.

Constructive criticism is welcome.  Please download our latest episode off Youtube or our website and let us know what you think.

I think also that IPTV is handstrung a little at present due to many people still having dial-up or other bandwidth limitations.  As broadband expands and becomes cheaper I expect that many more people will download episodes and the IPTV industry will grow.  Give it 5 years.  When that happens those shows that have been on the block for a while and have built up a library of content (eg BSOD, Amateurlogic) will attract a lot of new interest.

    cheers
