  1. i had another idea just then.  I work in a LAN Gaming and Internet Cafe in Australia, maybe something on the observations i make whilst working here, there are a lot of interesting people that come into the Cafe.  Lettme know what you guys think.

  2. Heya,

I would love to write an article / column for Analog5 but i'm having a little truble finding a good original idea.  I was thinking something like "The history of..."  which would be a column, but I'm not sure of what the first topic might be, and even if it would be interesting enough to the community.  Any thoughts?  Other column / article ideas that would be good.  I've already looked on the wiki, but i wanted some 'live' feedback, so i posted here on the forums.

  3. i'm not really interested in the free games for linux.  I want to play my Counter Strike, and other games traditionally "windows" games.  It would be great if the developers started to compile and sell the same games they do for windows, for linux, but I don't think that is going to happen any time soon.  So, programs/libraries like Cedega, i think, are the way to go in the intrim.

  4. Hey guys,

I'd love to see a show / segment done on gaming under linux,  I don't mean the games written for linux or the ones that come with the different distros.  I'd love to see how to set up and use things like Cedega (http://www.transgaming.com/products/cedega/  ,    http://www.cedega.com/)  and freeware alternatives (if there are any).  These things allow windows games to run nativly under linux.  In other words, the old excuse "But linux doesn't run my windows games" can be thrown out the window and we can all run linux and still have our games.  yay!

    Thanks guys,

    Jamie in Australia.
