No, that still wouldn't work.  Their system will know the AP it once connected to and realize that your Pineapple is not the same, automatically rejecting it.  However, if you were to broadcast the SSID 'attwifi' and they had previously connected to it at a Starbucks their system will be able to connect because those are open APs.  At this point you just have to drown out any other AP they might automatically connect to and they should join yours.

Smart, thank you :) by the way, do you know any good tutorial up to date about sslstrip2 or any thing to sniff https:// even through hsts ? I know there're on google, but most are out dated or else :/ I'm looking to learn, I dont just want to be a script kiddie :)

If any of those Access Points using any type of encryption, it's impossible for them to join your Pineapple via PineAP.

Is it because when the client probe on the AP, it detects it doesn't request any password ? Would that mean that if with some rules, I'm able to make an encrypted AP requesting for a password, but when it'll check if a client it'll answer "Yea, it's the good one", would it work ? Would people automatically to it then ?

  3. Hello,

I'm broadcasting all SSIDs around me. After that I tried to deauth a client from its AP, I receive a probe request from that client, but it won't connect(Associate), it's like it's waiting its real AP back up, or just auto reconnect to it immediately. I tried to de-auth it multiple times, nothing to do.

I tried with many others clients, still not working. I tried to put the client just in front the Wifi pineapple, then deauth it, but still it won't connect to the PineAP..

Worse, I even tried to disconnect the AP, still the client won't log into my Wifi pineapple xD(Same SSID etc.. :/)
