The configuration file /etc/config/wireless only has the last wireless connected.
if you change the SSID, you lose the old data.

I'm having similar problem.
I have configured all options of PineAp, with aggressive interval. Saved as default config. Then, when I reboot the PineAP, the settings changes to "disable PineAP Daemon" with normal interval of Beacon Response and Broadcast SSID Pool.
But the PineAp daemon works.! It finds some SSID
