    Just a helpful hint to those challenged few such as me... If you aren't running the default AP name before the flash it's going to default back to it after. So I kept getting this pretty light show of solid green and Red Blue Orange consecutively but my laptop never reconnected to the AP. So I clicked on the wifi icon and it refreshed the list and I then noticed the default AP being broadcasted and once I connected to that it brought me through the initial setup process and the light show ended.

    I'm just a bit thick tonight but in the event that this helps anyone else from creating a softbrick/mental frustration... I don't mind admitting it.

    Having the same issue. Tried recovery mode. Says "Upgrade Failed, make sure you used the correct firmware,etc" Tried renaming the file from upgrade1.0.1 to upgrade 1.0.. No such luck. It started when i tried to update from the configuration tile. Said new update "Flash" , so i did.

    Need help on this one. Much thanks.

    Sooooo damn pissed. Called UPS about my package. Online tracking says its been cleared and on its way, but when I called, they blatantly said that the online tracking info was incorrect and in fact the package was sitting in a warehouse awaiting clearance.

    Ordered my pineapple on the 16th, paid UPS Standard insured, was scheduled for delivery yesterday, now this bag of horse manure.

    I advise no one to use UPS (Ultra Poor Service)

    Better to use USPS, its gonna take the same amount of time, cost you less for shipping and little to no ridiculous brokerage fees

    I swear the people at UPS are retard. Been tracking my Mark V, it went from San Pablo, California to New Brunswick Canada, to Windsor Ontario Canada, to Freaking Hodgkins Illinois.....

    Windsor is 1 hr away from my damn house......

    It had some "Power of Attorney notice needed" issue, then had to be processed by broker, then went to be registered at clearance agency.

    Wow. This is really good to know. Would it be possible to get a pic of the invoice they gave you? I have a meeting with UPS tomorrow and I'm very unhappy about 'em gouging you guys. VAT is one thing but 70 - that's insane.

    As soon as the shithead drops it off. Will do..Hope everything is in the package.

    Offline Credential Harvesting HoneyPot -- Module (Phishing Module)

    I am almost finished with v0.1 of my offline phishing module. The premise of this module is simple. You set the ssid of an open wireless network (Free Public Wifi, etc.) When enabled, all requests will be forwarded to a 'walled garden' splash page. This will inform the viewer that they have limited access to only certain pages, and will give links to these pages. Every one of these pages are phishing pages that you can upload to the module (even your own!).

    Since all phishing pages are hosted locally, this module is intended to work all of the time, without internet access. It gives the user the impression that they are connecting to pages on the internet, yet all credentials are harvested.

    Another beautiful thing about this module is how little hardware it uses. I have been known to have up to 3 usb wifi cards plugged into my pineapple while using for deauth/wifi repeating etc... This module can be used with only a properly formatted flash drive, eliminating a need for a usb hub (and the extra power it consumes).

    I need Seb or someone at wifipineapple.com to verify me for module submission.

    I also would like to talk to Petertfm about this module. I have reused (embarrassingly large amounts of) his code from his RandomRoll module in this. Our modules are extremely similar in both frontend and backend. I would like to ask him a couple of questions/ get him to sign off on the parts of his code I used before making this public. I have tried to message him but he does not accept messages. Petertfm if you read this, please send me a message or an email at my uname [at] gmail.

    Would be really great to see this module out in the wild. When is your release date?

    i have set this up and my experiences have been a little hit and miss.

    when rebooting the pineapple, the USB doesnt always automatically find itself. the light on my usb wont always boot up and the usb led on the pineapple itself remains off. i try to unplug and replug and sometimes it will work but most times it wont.

    not sure where im going wrong here. its a good USB, its been formatted as mentioned above and the USB code has been amended and mkswap issued. sad.gif

    I'm not really going to be using 3g and will always have this USB plugged in but it doesnt appear to want to play ball!

    I got a 4GB transcend to work with little or no issue. Now most of my modules and logs are on the usb. Given its kinda protruding but it works for me. Sorry about not having the pineapple sticker, didnt get one with the holiday bundle.
