[Episode 2x05 Release]

I just had to finally register so I can post here, in this thread, about the last episode.

I loved it and I'm going to tell you why.

I had known of purepwnage but I didn't know anything aobut it at all, just heard it referanced places before. So when I saw what the ep was going to be about I was a little uneasy simply because I had no idea what exactly purepwnage was (Much less that it was a fictional/story driven show - which seems to be nearly non-existant as far as independant media goes).

I'm going to say first of all I love all of this IPTV stuff. I honestly find it jaw dropping that technology allows for an idea and a small group of like minded people to not only do what they want artisticly/creatively but also easily distribute it to people.

That was the angle that made this episode so great for me. purepwnage is cool, and I have since been going through all the episodes, but just hearing how these two guys got an idea for a show and were able to, by themselves, get to the point where they fill a theater and have live showings? Even more, that they have a large enough audience that they might do a tour-esque thing and go to different areas and set up live showings? That this hobby of theres is financially supporting them? That is just downright inspirational and plain awesome that we are at a time where there are so many options available for people to fulfill their dream (As corny as that may sound).

Yeah, it was a deviation from the normal routine and I'm sure we all would have preferred it alongside a 'real' ep of hak5 but this was one of my favorite episodes. Absolutely awesome :)
