I have considered domain.com but there prices are expensive compared to others out there. Other than there show affiliation is there a particular reason you suggest their services?

Im new to the Hak5 forums and im not usually a forum user but... I thought this may be a good place to start. Being a Hak5 fan and a technical addict I would appreciate some advice from like minded people.

I would like to rent a US based VPS to do a number of things but the main purpose is a SOCKS proxy. There are obviously hundreds of companies offering this service but picking the right one is hard. Have any of you had experience with these type of service? either good or bad. Could any one offer any advice on what to look for in a service.
