I went from 2.1.0 to 2.3.1 (been busy) and noticed I am able to ssh in right after flashing without enabling ssh in the GUI.. Anyone else experience this?

Please remember it's TTL and 3.3 volts.
if you only have a 5 volt ttl then do not plug it into the pineapple and power via the ac wall adapter;-)

Why don't you script something to use the WPS button to hit your tftp to grab the *.bin and update? There is a way to program a script to run on WPS button push.
I definitely intend to do that when my TTL converter shows up and I get it flashed and usable again. I was just offering a feature suggestion for built in functionality so people have an easier way to recover when they end up in this situation :D

How about a factory reset via an alternate key press (20 seconds or WPS+Reset or something) that would initiate a flash by grabbing/using update.bin from tftp or usb?

So.. after upgrading my new mk4 to 2.0.0 I changed the root pw via the gui and am now locked out. Do I have any options other than returning it or buying a serial console adapter/cable and flashing? It appears the reset button does nothing.. I've tried for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, as power is plugged in, etc.. I suspect that wouldn't reset the root pw anyways... anyone? Much thanks!
