  1. Hi

    Ive just done an order for the wifi pineapple, picked the shipping i want, but when i come to the checkout, the paypal option is not available to me anymore. Im wanting one shipped to the uk, has anybody got any ideas on this.

  2. Hi

    Just wondered which bundle to g for with the pineapple, It say you can buy a battery pack to go ewith it, does this not charge itself from the usb connection. Also im in th uk, can anybody tell me what the shipping cost please.

  3. Thanks for the reply, but i got it sorted, not sure why it was not working, if i typed localhost on my attacking computer, everything worked great,but when i came to connect to the fake AP with my victim comp, for some reason it wouldnt let me connect. Had a day or two away from it,came back and had another go with the same settings, and hey presto. If anybody can put some light on this then that would be great.

    Regards

  4. Could realy do with some help with this one,i had the fake ap going afew weeks ago but come to try it agian but having no luck, its the evil twin method that i have been trying out (h##p://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6I0GeEh22c).In the new dhcpd.conf file i had to make,it looks like this,

    ddns-update-style ad-hoc;

    default-lease-time 600;

    max-lease-time 7200;

    subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {

    option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;

    option broadcast-address 192.168.1.255;

    option routers 192.168.1.1;

    option domain-name-servers 8.8.8.8;

    range 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.254;

    }

    When i have got it all up and running,when i try to connect to the fake router its doesnt always let me connect, and when it does it just comes up with my normal google page and not the verizon pgae, i have all the right files in my /var/www/ but still no luck.now my deafualt gateway on my router is 192.168.1.1, should i be making changes to my dhcpd.conf file i have made up.

    Thanks

  8. I know this is going to sound daft to most of you, but ive been looking at a video with the evil twin method of setting up a fake router, in the vid it starts of with, ifconfig usb0 up. even tho ive used backtrack a bit, its a command ive never used.

    Can anybody put me in the right direction of how i should be setting this up, ive got a built in wireless card on the laptop but also used the alfa awus036h. This is the vid if anybody wants to have a look.

    Regards

  9. even if i try it from a live cd or from a usb i still get the same results, I think the problem is in the script or backtrack cd has change from previous versions. In the scipt it shows a route to a file, but when i try to look for the file on backtrack, i cant seem to locate it. Has anybody had the same problem or does anybody else know a better way of setting up a fakeap.

  10. Has anybody tried the script that g0tm1lk has made, and just wondered if anybody had it running on bt5 r2, ive change some of the script to work on my pc,but when it trys to load the DHCP up it says, dhcpd3 failed to start. Any ideas? Thanks

  11. Hi

    I would like to get some help with metasploit connecting to someones ip address, I know the backdoor attack were you make a file and put it on another pc you are trying to connect to. But ive only done this when you are conected to the same internet connection and the ip router address is somthing like 192.168.1.1. What im tring to do is to connect to another box as if it was a few miles away. Also whats a good why to get someones ip address with out phyisiclly sat at there pc.

    Thanks

  12. Thanks for that it worked a treat, well happy,,,, But i dont realy understand it all. i did ls -ltr sslstrip.py and this is what i got,

    root@bt:~# cd /pentest/web/sslstrip/

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# ./sslstrip.py -l 8080

    bash: ./sslstrip.py: Permission denied

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# ls -ltr sslstrip.py

    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4066 2011-05-06 06:22 sslstrip.py

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# ls-ltr sslstrip.py

    ls-ltr: command not found

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# sudo chmod 755 sslstrip.py

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# ./sslstrip.py -l 8080

    sslstrip 0.8 by Moxie Marlinspike running...

    as you can see in mine i have -rw--r--r, does this mean i can only read and wright part of this file and not all of it, and the (sudo chmod 755)i dont understand it, do you have any info about it or a good link so i can read up about it.

    Thanks again

  13. Im trying to get ssltrip to work but keep getting this error message,

    root@bt:~# cd /pentest/web/sslstrip/

    root@bt:/pentest/web/sslstrip# ./sslstrip.py -l 8080
