[How To Get Firesheep To Work]

I have two computer on the same network. One is my laptop and the other is my desktop. I am using firefox 3.6.12, cain & abel, and firesheep.

I configured firesheep to connect with my NIC card and I did ARP poison using cain & abel. I have not been able to get firesheep to capture anything.

I have watched videos but I still can't get it to work. I'm probably configuring something wrong or I don't know soo......

IF YOU HAVE USED FIRESHEEP AND GOT IT TO WORK PLZ HELP ME OUT AND TELL ME THE STEPS YOU DID.

I would like to know how to really protect my computer from ARP Poison.

1.Should I get another firewall? which one would be the best?

2.Should I use a proxy?

3.Should I get a program that changes my IP address constantly? If so which program do you recommend?

4. Or any other options you think would help would be great as well.

I would like to learn how to install an Operating system over the network step-by-step.
