  2. I suggest you download it over opkg.

    opkg update
    opkg install webif
    [/CODE]

Of course, you would have to give the MKII and internet connection first.

Otherwise, depending on your hardware, you could upgrade to the MKIII firmware - though that won't help you install webif either, you will still need to execute the steps above. Just Internet Connection Sharing is made easier.

Lastly, it would be possible to manually download webif and install it. You should download it from the OpenWRT servers though. Make sure to choose the correct version of OpenWRT. The OpenWRT version can be found by SSHing into the pineapple MKII and looking at the SSH banner.

    Best Regards,

Thanks for the reply, seems just like Debian gonna try it out!

  3. Hello there,

Finally got it flashed and ssh'ed to my MK2. Then go to install the packages from digininjas site's, without problems.

When its was time to install webif I found ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/xwrt/packages/ . But I can get the right webif installed. Complains about :

    opkg install webif_milestone-2.76.ipk

    Collected errors:

    * Packages were found, but none compatible with the architectures configured

Does any one has a working copy for the mk2? please help and thanks

  4. Hey all,..

Been trying for the last couple of hours to flash the mk2 without luck. From digininjas site i did Run up redboot ./redboot.pl 192.168.1.1 and then power on the Fon. ... And im getting

    ./redboot.pl 192.168.1.1

    192.168.1.1 is alive

    open('192.168.1.1') failed

from the site I read that 192.168.1.1 should be my localhost,.. and 192.168.1.254 the fon... what im doing wrong?

    thanks

  5. You can go to http://www.gargoyle-router.com/ they have all kinds of info for the device and stuff.

In the download section they have fon-flash. That will let you flash software to your device. have directions and the whole deal

there is software on digininja's site for it and the mk3 software will also work.

I think that urlsnarf will end up crashing the device if you use mk3 software but I do not remember

Thanks bud! gonna check that out!
