  1. If you missed the Ohio Linuxfest this year, you can still see some of the speakers by checking out a special edition of the video podcast "the_source". Take a close look at the new OSD from Neuros. It's a device that's built for hacking :) Here is a synopsis of the show:

  4. I just wanted to let everyone know about a new video podcast called the_source that is all about open source. You can find it at http://www.thesourceshow.org. The whole show is produced with open source software (Cinelerra, Audacity, DVGrab and The Gimp). We just released our first episode which is focused on server virtualization. We have an in-depth review and demo of QEMU. To avoid paying the high cost of bandwidth we are using OurMedia to host our files, so the download speeds might be a little slower than you are used to. We plan on seeding future episodes on bittorrent for faster download. The first episode is a little rough, but like a fine wine we will get better with age :)
