  1. I have a Kill-A-Watt adapter I would just like to know before I buy what the consumption is. I have an atom d510mo with 1tb wd green and a laptop hd running at ~40watts 24/7 and it costs me ~$2.30 a month to run, but cant handle esxi

(on a side note I feel that 40 watts is high usage for this board. This weekend I am going to try and go in and disabled onboard audio and video and see how much that bumps it down. anyone else with this board getting lower consumption?)

  2. It has been a while since the esxi virtualization series but I was wondering if anyone built a low power machine for 24/7 use. Obviously an i7 with atom power consumption would be ideal but not gonna happen, so whats the next best thing? Is there a reliable source for consumption by processor etc? I see the TDP but I am looking for real world figures. Also, whats the best bet on estimating motherboard power usage? Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks
