  2. I have some software that will not run in Win7 even with the compatibility feature. It will only run in WinXP. But it is only one piece of software so I don't want to completely go back to WinXP. I have created a boot USB using Hiren's software that allows me to boot into WinXP mini. But when I try to install my software it can't find anything in the CD drive. It can find the drive but just keeps asking me to load a disc. So I placed everything from the CD I need to install onto the usb that is booting WinXP and try to run the software. It starts to install but then says the operating system is incorrect.

Why would it not run when I have booted to WinXP and what can I do about it? Thanks. It's actually home school software for my daughter and really very important to us.
