Well if you are stateside i would go with the digikey parts darren posted.

I recommend using so shrinktubing to isolate the plug properly after soldering, a double layer of shrinktubing also provides some slack so you dont accidentaly rip the wires out of the plug.

I am no expert, i have some arduino experiance but this is just a theory.

however i assume the analog port would read the effective value of the pulse width modulation, just like your average pot, ldr or phototransistor. the reason for this is that the analog reads the flow of current, not resistance

wether or not the value would fluctuate like crazy i can not say, but this might not be an issue depending on what you intend to do with it. but it is 500Hz so i doubt you would notice anyting other than the effective value

TF2 is probably the only game i've stuck with over long after i cut out wow.

i find it amazing that a game a few months shy of 3 years old that is mulitplayer only can still remain freash and entertaining.

i don't play as much as i used to but tf2 is still the game i play the most

well i plan on buying the plug and pack on ebay, as shipping from stateside would probably cost a bundle.

make sure you order a 5.5mm/2.5mm plug, there are a few that look the same but might not fit.

im buying these but you might wanna search around for better deals thinking of how much shipping would cost to your location.
