Hi
I'm trying to update the firmware on about 150 thin clients and i use a program called Wyse Rapport 4.4.1 to push the update image (contains drivers, firmware ++) over a network, i got a Windows 2003 server (enterprise) to run a DHCP server.
The Wyse Rapport program is supposed to list all the thin clients on the network so that i can select them and just drag and drop the image to them, then the thin client is supposed to reboot and install the image.
The clients get connected to the network with my DHCP server, i can ping them and all is good, only the wyse rapport program won't list the clients, i even tried to connect the clients manually by typing the IP address, MAC address and so on but with no success.
Does anybody know why this don't work?
Or maybe somebody got another program i can use to do this?

I did this during lunch one time
They were explaining packet overflow and the deputy came in... i got into trouble for it
Hmm, can they do anything about that? It's not illegal to know things, but it may be illegal to use them ;)
Anyways, if I watch them at work nobody can do anything to me, actually i think my boss would watch it with me

Oh crap, I really suck at reading
You can use Clark Connect (www.clarkconnect.com) for this i believe :)[/url]

It all gets much more easy (and legal(!)) if you just buy a Mac, the remote even comes in the packages
I don't think Apple want to tell you how to get the media center thingie to appear when you don't own a Mac
On my MacBook Pro there is a button on the keyboard for this, maybe if you get a Mac Keyboard :)

It's mainly just plug and play?
In the worst case you have to connect to the wireless switch / router and disable some settings

You'll need to learn some HTML, CSS and PHP.
Personally i use PHP but there are a few other languages too, as you have mentioned Perl is one, ASP and ASP.NET.
But I recommend PHP cause it's easy to use, it's popular so therefore it's easy to ask people about it if you have problems, and there are tons of guides to it :)

i think he is asking for the mac looking version of ubuntu for a live cd
YES!
I don't think there is no such thing, unless you make one yourself

Wii is going to totally rock!
It's much more fun when you actually have to move your arms to do something, i think everyone always wanted to move their arms during gaming.
Just look at people with controllers twisting and pushing their arms around, now with the great Wii there will be a point in actually twisting and pushing your arms, and it will not look quite as stupid ;)

That's a great idea, now i want to make one myself, maybe with one of my old Sega Mega Drive controllers

I've seen all the episodes in my cute and small home cinema theatre, i got my own projector (can't remember the name) and the logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround stereo :D
I also play Oblivion and do some programming there ;)
Maybe I'll post some pictures when i get home

I'd love to, depending on what the requirements are, but i got like 4 paid jobs that i'm working on right now, if it's not tons of PHP / MySQL code then maybe i can take the job :)
and my webpage is located at www.gigzor.com (it's in norwegian but i'm thinking about making a dual language site asap)
And my portofolio can be found at www.gigzor.com/portofolio

What filesystem does your d: drive have?

Hmm I have only ever used Norton. It seems to do the job for me. Will be interesting to see the end result in this poll though, might make me rethink my anti virus choice
Only problem with norton is that it's not freeware and it sucks your computer dry of resources :(
Other than that it's great!
