[What Kind Of Server Would be Most Beneficial?]

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to hear from some more experienced users about making a server. I have a nice desktop that could be adapted to any proxy, ssh, web hosting server needed, but i wanted to make a server that I could use for most of the episodes of hak5. I was thinking just a plain ssh server but was unsure.

[SSH Tunneling on Mac]

Hello,

I have been pursuing the ssh tunneling in the last video. I successfully downloaded and ran the SSH Tunneling program on my mac, then in the Account Tab there is a option to get a small space on the server. Created a Account at the Arbornet and logged in sucessfully. Now do i need to open a port on the server to route all of my web traffic thorugh?

[Free Domain Turned into SSH Server]

Good idea, yes wouldnt want to be doing anything illegal. I also have a nice little desktop at home that could be used for a server, do you think that would work, or should i set up the shell on the domain.

Hello Everyone,

I have been watching all of the videos, and lately most of them have been concerning servers and tunneling. I do not have a server nor do i know how to make one, but I have a free domain at FreeWeb7.com and I was wondering if anyone knows how i would go about turning it into a ssh server. I do not believe it supports ssh naturally but i was hoping that someone could help me out with maybe turning it into one.
