    Photo Gallery Kiosk Software

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a project I am working on and I'm alittle bit stuck. I need to build a photo gallery kiosk but I can't find software that meets the needs. I have found things like xkiosk, but its geared more for people looking to order digital print. It just needs to auto find new pictures in the folders and have a zoom function. Anyone have any ideas?

    So after days of looking, I can't seem to find anything I really like. I think what I have decided to do is run Firefox with a kiosk addon and create the gallery in flash.

    1: Catalyst 6513s at the Core Catalyst 4500 Series at the edge.

    2: Suggested Media - 12 or 24 Strand Single Mode Fiber

    connectors and appropriate modules - Cisco 10GBASE X2 Modules

    4: Load Balancing I think this is what you are looking for.

    5: RADIUS authenticates users, you would need something like IPSEC to encrypt traffic.

    Stock coolers should be fine most of the time. I find it more important to use your own thermal paste. Clean the factory stuff off and use some Arctic Silver.

    My build here is alittle light on CPU and a mobo with alot of features. I focused more on storage. With the 3ware controller and 6 x 1.5tb hard drives I could setup a nice Raid 50. While booting from the 4GB flash drive. Also added a second nic. If I had to make any changes to this setup, it would have to be to add a quad NIC, but they aren't cheap.

    I am missing something, but I tried esx3i months ago on an HL Proliant 115, but the client used to access the VM's required licensing? So it's not free. I also seem to recall I could not copy VM's or back them up. Do I have this right or should I have another go at this...

    I installed ESXi 4 myself and I was also wondering about the licensing for vSphere. Is there some other tool to manage ESXi?
