  1. I got a perl script to brute force steghide passwords. I have a feeling there is something in that picture. I'm building the wordlist now. You can use any wordlist with this program. You can get it off of my blog at www.cypherround.blogspot.com I'll report once i got the wordlist done and have tested.

I did the same thing about a week ago. Tried about 50 megs worth of plain texts, not that I honestly thought I'd hit something. But it was worth a try.

  2. I just got an idea, in last episode was told that ipv6 addresses take mac addr and some other things to create ipv6 addr.

So EEF5204D6A could be a mac address. But its too short, there might be 00 before it. so I guess that one of darrens machines mac addr is 00:EE:F5:20:4D:6A

I thought of that, but I couldn't find a Manufacturer related to 00:EE:F5:20:4D:6A so I figured it wasn't that. However I did find this I don't think anyone posted it yet:

hak5darren Darren Kitchen Oct 13, 08:33 PM @maubrowncow don't. Stop yourself. It's a "waste" of time. Also the keys are thus far incomplete. Patience ;)

NB "keys" && "incomplete" && "Patience"

  3. In 812 Darren asks Joe how one would go about acquiring an IPv6 address for something like setting up a darknet. So, I would suspect that if the darknet does exist and is already up, it is running on IPv6 and EEF5204D6A is probably part of the address. Just my $00.02

  4. Well now I just feel like an idiot. In my search "mini routers" hoping to find something with the same guts, I found this. Should save me about $35.

I also found this though I'm not sure what's inside it.

I'll keep looking but, I'll probably order the Open-Mesh when I grow the balls to ship it without insurance.
