Streaming video over the internets using a TV tuner...

I have been using ORB now for about 2 years. It runs as an application on a windows machine...so you can still use the machine while ORB is doing its thing.

You can access your ORB server from anywhere...even using your Smartphone. (WM for sure). You can see a program guide, change channels, start recordings, play back recorded shows, watch live TV, even stream other video files you have stored.

Kinoma has built in support for ORB...but not for the live TV part of it.

I tried the linux TV streamers and found hardware support was limited...ORB worked immediately.
