2 bits of advice about laptops, firstly, when you take them apart put all the screws in little baggies according to the type of screw they are. Don't just stick them in a pot, put them in something that closes. 2ndly, make sure you have a clean large work area.
and make sure ur not in a hurry, make sure u got plenty of TIME! lol

A few days ago i learnt of the episode southpark brought out about playing WoW
It was so funny, because
A) i hate the game with a passion
and
B) there depiction of a 14-15 year olds weekend with friends was SPOT ON!
If you trawl youtube and google vid you will find the episodes

Traffic to anything in The Planet's 3 datacentres going via AT&T currently does not work.
I am aware of it already as I do have a box there myself.
IP blocks affected:
67.18.0.0/15
70.84.0.0/14
that was response from my ISP
there looks to be a dead link in the states AGAIN!

i just installed ubuntu 6.0.6 and install was a BREEZE
i was installing mandriva previously on same PC and had ALL sorts of issues with vid card driver installs.
previously these other versions of linux were fine to run in vmware to teach myself how to do things in linux. But now i want to host services etc on a linux box, without the headache of worrying about drivers
p.s it was just a geforce 2 64mb card, nothing new at all
thats one thing i like about windows, at least it gives u access to desktop even if u dont have the correct driver installed with the "windows default driver"

FOund this story about the scenario, i know i shouldnt use it, but theres alot of hotties on there!!!
it was a crap website from the start, great marketing around it, just porely presented.

quite possibly hes not under arrest, but using his expertise.......i know that sounds very hollywood, but just the timing of it during a conference, considering hes a CEO of a company, i dont think it would be easy for him to hide from authorities outside the digital world (in real life).
just my 2 cents.......
actually give that back, i need to go buy some milk later on....

As of sunday the 23rd, myspace was down for quite a while....when it came back up i was having all sorts of issues going thru myspace profiles and firefox just CRASHING on the "***swf.dll" file....i wonder if this is myspace trying to block the hole that the previous post was talking about??
would be good to hear from people who use that hack to see if it still works or not :?:
