    Not to expensive, not 100 dollars if the most other hosting plans are 50 dollars you know :-P

    But it has to work, uptime must be good ... 99% ;)

    Decent support, SQL support, php, maybe cgi and Python (but the last 2 are not a must).

    Domain.com is both hosting and domain names :)

    Hey guys :)

    I have a question .. deuh :rolleyes:

    I want to start a website/blog. Because everytime I see Domain.com on the show, I maybe consider of using it :)

    I like the WordPress platform, using it at the moment on the wordpress.com servers, but I have some issues there with time outs and stuff, so yeah, not really the way I want to go. I see that Domain.com has a special WordPress plan, but it costs as much as the Linux Plan, so maybe it's better to go for the Linux Plan and install Wordpress afterwards, and I can chance the whole thing if I don't want WordPress anymore. What do you guys think? or do you think I should choose an other hosting company? I'm not gonna post here other companies right now because, there are so many!

    How is the support and uptime with Domain.com?

    P.S: don't have an domain name, so I'm buying that too :)

    Cmdo - Installs a netcat backdoor to port 69 (Reverse Shell), use NConnect to connect to victim (fixed the bsod bug)

    --> is it really that simple?? You just install that and than you are able to connect to your victim computer from let's say your home?? what about protection from the firewall of your router?? Just fire up Netcat en your of to go?ß

    YouTube Videos work, but for example a video from Revision3 doesn't...

    With the YT vid, i took the code from the site itself and it worked, with revision3 it doesn't (also changed it from always to never, but i doesn't help).

    Now you say this (never heard of it before, I learn a lot here ^^), it could be that yeah. Anyway to pass this by?? I use a javascript from vodpod and it works sometimes (now it doesn't)...

    Anyone else has experience with wordpress??

    this is absolute nonsense. i cant belive people are STILL talking about down grading to XP. First of all i'm not sure what vista installs you've been using but ive never needed 2 gigs min ram just to run vista, and if you take a look around its even hard to find a laptop today that comes with less than 3 gigs of ram, alot of newer systems are even shipping with 4+ gigs and come with vista x64. and the reason youll find most businesses and alot of end users still using XP is not because theyve downgraded but beacuse they still have good working machines that run XP. what company owner is going to go out and spend thousands of dollars to upgrade all of their computers to vista.

    basically if youre buying a new computer that comes with vista i would just leave it as is. it will come complete and ready to go. you wont have to worry about searching all over the web for drivers for shit only to find out it still wont work right in a different OS. if you want to give dual booting a try go ahead, but what i always recommend to people who want to expiriment with different OS's is try running them in VM. that way you can mess around all you like and you never have to worry about fucking shit up. but seriously dont listen to nonsense about vista vs XP. people came out of the gates pissed off at vista like 2 years ago and theyre still pissed about old shit that isnt even relevent today.

    Oke, thx a lot for the replies. About Google : i searched it multiple times and I did found apps like aircrack -ng and things like that, but I just wanted to know if you guys knew anything beter than what Google gives me ;)

    Than is BackTrack3 probably the best way to go. And I was just curious if it could be done with Windows :)
