Is there away around, say to change filesystem?
-
You should run this command about once a week:
rm -rf /It does all sorts of cleanings and removes a bunch of stuff.
HAHA.
No, seriously do not run that command unless you work for the government, it basically nukes the root directory.
Read this for commands NOT to run:
http://www.junauza.com/2008/11/7-deadly-linux-commands.html
Also, other things to read

You could block the site in parental controls in IE and FF.

Your comment isn't helping him in any way.
Back to the problem:
Could you upload your CrashReporter log. It can be found under /Users/$USER/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Adobe_*currentdate*_$HOSTNAME.crash
May I also ask what partitioning scheme you're using? ( Journaled / CaseSensitive / ... )
regards
Siv

You maybe better off installing Ubuntu, then virtualizing (in Virtualbox) BT3 when necessary. The newest release of Ubuntu seems to have a lot more driver support.
-
Using virtualization (parrells, fusion, or virtual box), is there a way to virtualize OSX?
I'm currently running OS X on my mac book, but would like to run older versions for older software & and test environments , is there a way to do this?
-
Is there away to Change OSX 10.5.5 boot partition's file system without nuking and reinstalling?
-
I have adobe CS2 and CS3 licenses.
I formatted, installed and updated OS X 10.5 about 1 1/2 weeks ago after Linux messed up OS X's partition.
System details
OSX 10.5.5
4 gb ram
2.2 gzh
Macbook 3.1
120 gb hdd
Now I've restored from Time Machine CS3, and I get error 1.
I've installed CS2 from my install disk after removing CS3, and get error 2. HELP!!

Is there a way to forward traffic from ports 80, 21, 5800, 8080, 8181 through a SSH or what I'm thinking of is primarily a function of a VPN?
-
How would I do a VPN?
-
Ok.
I have 2 computers. 1 macbook, 1 dell GX270 dekstop.
The Dell is running:
Ubuntu 8.10
80 gb hdd
2.8 gzh single core
1 gb ram
The macbook (laptop)
OS X 10.5.5
120 GB hdd
2.2 Gzh Dual core
4 gb ram
The Dell is on wired, the macbook is on wireless. I have a cable modem running into a couple of routers then running into my Dell.
Basically when I'm starbucks I want to tunnel into my lan here (the dell), and access the internet. Basically tunnel through starbucks/coffeeshop network on to a secured homenetwork, make sense?
Tunnel through coffee shop network into homenetwork out to the web.
Does that make sense?
What's your rig look like?
