  1. to Machstorm: I am aware of the possible punishments for doing so....

To Firetime: I was successfully able to get in with the command. Thanks for the help. I am going to see what i can do from there.

  2. currently im in school, and the school uses the novell client, this is a real pain. It blocks certain programs, commands, and operations.

the thing that im wondering about is if there is a way around the novell client?

it is the Novell Client 7

i have access to the command prompt, certain things on the control panel, and internet access but it blocks quite a few things.

any help would be greatly appriciated

    thanks, 7eleven Mafia

  3. Is it even known that the parents installed the program? I mean, could he have been hacked and someone remotely doing this as well??

Any keylogger program smells of malware to me. I don't care if you paid for one, they only serve one purpose, and thats to spy on someone, so if it was the parents, then thats pretty lame they had to resort to something like that without at least telling anyone up front "Hey, were going to be monitoring your activities because we want to make sure you are not doing anything illgeal, etc.." Like if they had gotten some sort of RIAA Takdown notice or something to that effect, I can see them wanting to lock down the PC, but for them to just blatently spy on their kid, that is kind of creepy. Parents just don't communicate with their kids these days and kids are more and more are less trusting of their parents. This just goes to show there is a bigger picture here at play that has nothing to do with keylogging your kids activities. It comes down to trust, respect, and communication as a family which seems to be missing from both parties.

I think that is not really goign to help matters. Sitting down with your parents and talking about it might be a better solution. At any age, parents should at least try to have a relationship with their kid instead of treating them like a criminal and spying on them. Besides, maybe one of the parents put it on without the other parent knowing. Maybe one of them is spying on the other parent for fear of infidelity or something like that, but until you find out one way or the other why it is there, messing with your parents computer will only get you into more trouble with them and probably make things worse for yourself if you screw up their computer in the process. If they are watching what you are doing, they will probably see this thread anyway.

no, i was there when the put it on my computer however, i only knew the program name and i went from there to try to resolve my problem, and i have not gone on this forum from a computer at my house

  4. Given what the program does, and that the OP is clearly a minor using there parents computer (which is protected by a password he knows about but doesn't have and knows his parents set up) its most likely that they are spying on him.

No, its actually my computer however the feel the need to limit my time usage, and spy on me.

Would an encryption program lock up files so that they cant be used without a password?

  5. Currently on my computer there is a program installed called Spector 6.0. what i am wondering is how would I go about finding this program? and how would i uninstall it? It's currently is in stealth mode, I cannot see this program. Ive read information on it through the website that it was installed from and it leaves nothing for me to go off of. It is a keylogger, web-site tracker, screen shots every 5 seconds, and apparently it sends it through my internet to a server.

    any help would be appreciated

    thx, 7eleven mafia
