Homework allowing I'll toss up a twiki installation on my server in the next few days for folks to try out.

I'm building a new rig and it's all SATA for the drives. No more IDE as those cables block too much air and are no fun to work with. Also I hate lights in my case because if I keep my machine on at night to run something, the lights keep me awake. I can sleep through the sound but blue lights on my ceiling and walls just is annoying.

I looked at twiki today and it certainly looks nice. Not sure how well all its features work without actually installing it and playing with it tho.

The Wiki needs to move to a new platform.
Mediawiki is great and all but. Hell, who am I kidding. Mediawiki is crap. What do you guys recommend?
With it back up I can at least easily transfer the important articles.
Open to suggestions.

I've only ever used mediawiki myself and yes, it is crap. I was looking at dokuwiki today and it may be worth looking at. Also there is http://www.wikimatrix.org/ that compares a bunch of different wiki software. It might be helpful for finding out about what would be a good replacement.

Just looking at the page for adding new wiki pages (http://www.hak5.org/w/index.php/Making_a_new_page) and it seems that even the "workaround" doesn't seem to work. Anyone know if I'm doing something weird or is it really broken? The part I'm talking about is this: <inputbox> type=comment buttonlabel=Create </inputbox> Seems like there is supposed to be an input box but obviously all we get on the page is the raw code for the box. Ideas?

Just wanted to toss out this offer. If someone (like Darren maybe) has show notes or synopsis' for the rest of season 4 and seasons 5 and 6 I'll take up the work of adding them to the wiki and doing any cleanup needed. If no such materials exist, let me know too and I'll see about re-watching the episodes that need notes still.
