It also annoys me when I see some thing done on TV with computers that is (practically) impossible, the same applies to games (Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was very bad for this).
I hate it when tv and movies do somemthing with computers that is possible... but they dont show them actualy doing it.. the only movie iv'e seen thats remotly accurate is Firewall...

Here is mine...

The VLK keys... those may not be the ones they use... My school district bought thousands of HP desktops... with XP pro.. the VLK keys are on the sides of the computer... but when they go through the district technology center... they get re-imaged with the district image... thus replacing the already installed version of XP with that key......
and if ur school district like mine, uses active directory, some programs like fire fox do not require admin privilages for it to be installed... so they did not screw upt here.
if you are talking about a windows image to already have that checked... of course.... just use acronis True Image... and then configure ur installation how u want and then tell it to make an image of ur computer...

All my servers are server 2003, and it will work with 2003.... but i need to find the demo....Someone here recommended flash media server, but I think that only works on Red Hat, but it looks awesome. -

U can use Acronis... its the best damned back up program ever! It's saved my ass on many accounts (pardon language)... It can create images of ur drive that u can use a boot disk later to restore. www.acronis.com

I have a server set up just for music, and i dont have a monitor or keyboard or mouse for it. It just sits in the server cabinet. My question is, what is a good, and if possible free, web based media streaming solution?
Edit:im going to use a thin client to manage it, they will be in close proximity.

Then you need to use the Group Policy Object (GPO), you need to go into the policy group -> user configuration -> software settings -> software installtion. Its listed under users and computer. Then you can add the program there to be installed.
that didnt work... i reboot and it comes up with Installing "File Name" andthen it goes to CTRL ALT DELETE to begin, and i login and then it doesnt show that its installed.
