sentinel
Ok so here's the deal. One of the podcasts I obsessively follow, C|Net's Buzz Out Loud, has a weird rss feed which confuses a lot of podcatchers. The problem is that in their XML file, the link to the daily mp3 is something like this: http://dw.com.com/redir/file.mp3?destURL=h...zOutLoud;051906 instead of just http://podcast-files.cnet.com/podcast/cnetbuzz_051906.mp3 They've added a redirect to count hits. FireAnt struggles with it a bit, and QuickNews on my Palm forces me to open the link in a browser, which is more cumbersome than it should be. What I want to do is create my own XML file, but without this crap. (I want to either read the feed and strip out the redirect, or concatenate the URLs manually) Any ideas? Darren Kitchen
have you tried burning the feed? PS: Veronica rules
sentinel
FeedBurner? I just did, but it doesn't seem to do anything. (She totally does.)
