wireless xbox controller and pc

sup guys,

ive been playing pc games with my wireless xbox 360 controller for about a month and its been going great there's only one thing annoying me. when ever im finished gaming or put my computer in idle i have to turn off my controller via pulling out the battery's or waiting for its idle timer to auto power off. so i was wondering if there was a way to turn the controller off without pulling the battery's out.
