I'm trying to run utorrent on my laptop

My network is setup like this

Internet --> Speedstream Router/Modem --> Belkin Wireless --> Laptop

External ip --> 192.168.254.254 --> 192.168.2.1 --> 192.168.2.4

How can I properly forward ports?

Nevermind..

I found a setting on my wifi router to disable all its features so now my laptop has an ip from my main router! :)

Why is your router 192.168.254.254? I guess thats okay but it should be: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

Also:

Internet --> Speedstream Router/Modem --> Belkin Wireless --> Laptop

External ip --> 192.168.254.254 --> 192.168.2.1 --> 192.168.2.4

Just so you know, IPs dont really matter.

Anyway, you'll want to log into your Belking's Firmwar and disable DHCP and NAT. Then in your router's firmware go and find the port-forward tab/add service (this will be a little different for each model), and add the port (in uTorrent) listed under "Options>Speed Guide>Current Port." And its that easy, make sure you test it after your done, "Options>Speed Guide>Test."

they do though, why is your router on a different subnet? if your mask is 255.255.255.0 that could cause issues.
