Backtrack 3 installation

i recently installed BT3 from a live cd on a old comp w/ a unformatted 10gig hd the install worked said 100 % but eveytime i try to boot it says there was a boot error any suggestions??

no there is nothing on the drive

if there's nothing else on the drive just try reintalling
