Sparda
A friend or someone in your houses sits at your computer and sees an open web browser (I use firefox in it's default layout which is easily usable by any IE user), then goes to hotmail.com enters there username and password clicks "Login" and when prompted by Firefox "Do you want Firefox to remeber your username and password for this site?" clicks Remeber? Firefox = The best password pharmer of all time? I would imagin that if you reprogrammed Firefox to automaticly remember usernames and passwords and put it on a public computer, then yes, propbably. Darren Kitchen
When I'm over at Harrison's I always ask "is there a keylogger running? are you sniffing these packets?"
401
hehe, same thing here darren. I had a buddy in highschool that was pretty much my partner-in-geekery. whenever i'd go to his house and use his computer, he always said " *cough* keylogger *cough* " when I typed something. Most public computers I've used only had IE installed. If you have access to other drives on a public computer, you could always stick PSPV and MessenPass on a thumbdrive. programertobe
I couldn't go anywhere w/o firefox. I always use a master password for my password storage, so even if they do hit remember, they need my master password to save it.
VilleValoV
That is a brilliant idea, to make it auto remember passwords that is. Espically if you have Snooping ass Roomates who wont keep their Greasy paws off your computer
Sparda
Just to make sure this is clear. When you set a master password in Firefox, Firefox uses that as the encyption key with which the password file is encypted with, I forget what encyption it uses (Blowfish?). kickarse
I used to build websites of topics that my friends or enemies liked. They could sign up for "more info" or "latest news". But you'd need a username and password. So I basically farmed their passwords and email addresses. I kinda was on the impression that _most_ use the same password for everything. Also when I was 16 I put a keylogger inside another program and sent it to my X. Set it to send email to me every week. You gotta keep tabs on those girls and their gossip. Suffice to say everyone hated her because of emails _she_ sent out to others. I did get some very interesting blackmail.... ahahahaha... err...
