Someone on another forum that I visit brought up the Gizmondo as they are bringing out a new one according to some sites. This got me thinking, so I had a look around and this device is now around $50 for:

Built-in devices: Camera, Display

Dimensions (W x D x H): 4.9 in x 1.3 in x 3 in

Weight: 4.2 oz

OS provided: Microsoft Windows CE .NET

Installed RAM: 128 MB

Installed ROM: 64 MB Flash

Processor: Samsung 400 MHzS3C2440

Input device type: Triggers, 8-way D-pad

Audio output type: Speaker(s)

Data services: MMS, SMS, WAP

Modem: Integrated Wireless cellular modem

Cellular enhancement protocol: GPRS

Display type: 2.8 in TFT active matrix

Color support: 16-bit (64K colors)

Bluetooth

1xUSB

1X Headphones

1XSD Memory Card

GPS receiver

Now you could added a SanDisk 256MB/whatever + Wi-Fi SD card for very little money. I've looked around but no one seems to have bought this device let alone hack it which seems a shame as I think it would make a nice mobile hacking toy.
