Nophix
So, I'm installing a system in my SHO-car(pun intended, it's a '93 SHO), and I want to be able to use a connection via wifi as well. What I am thinking is to be ale to use my laptop off my tethered EVDO connection if I'm at a camp ground or something. So I would have the cell tethered to the computer in the car, and have it able to run wifi out. I could use a PSP, iPod Touch, or any other device while at the camp ground(we do a lot of camping when we can). What I would like is to have the wired network cable run out to the WAN port on an old router I have, and bridge the connections. I could go for the USB adapter(actually have a hacked Nintendo dongle), but it's a lot slower. Is there a way I could do this?
Sparda
Yep, just plug the laptop (which will have the EVDO and wired ethernet connections bridged) in to the WAn port on the router and it will work as it should.
