Striker D
YAY! I've got a DIFFERENT PROBLEM! For some reason PJ is submitting a bad date/time to last.fm for tracks listened to. I get a message in my profile on last.fm saying : Some tracks you submitted have not been added to your profile for the following reason:Spam protection triggered: You submitted a track dated earlier than your last submission. Any idea what's wrong? I'm pretty much a n00b, looked for all last.fm references in pandoragrabber.jar but didn't see anything that looked like a date/time, what's wrong? kugelblitz
is there a way to grap only "thumb up" and/or "favourite" songs ? Some kind of Intelligent cruise control?
Striker D
not currently, looking through settings in pandorasjar.js it looks like it only detects cruise control on/off.
martini23
Thanks for the fix... works perfect for me. I'm ripping in cruise control and without CDDB or last.fm activated. But I still got a question. Is it normal that get a Unknown album for every song I rip, although the album is named in the pandora app??? Birra
Song a plays first. Then song b plays. Pandora's jar copies Song a, and renames it to Song b. Then song c plays. Pandora saves song c correctly. Then song d plays. Pandora's jar copies Song c, and renames it to Song d. Had that Problem too. But since a Cachclean and a reboot it's gone. Thanks, it works now! PS: Someone fucked up the layout on this page. :(
cyclocross
Mine is also ripping in cruise control w/ CDDB & LastFM off. Odd thing it's now doing is it will import the songs into my iTunes and then iTunes immediately begins playing the song. Also doesn't capture Album title. mrweiner
I made all of the canges to the pandoragrabber.js that mrmath said and also switched out the JAR and the default.properties to the updated ones, and it still wont grab on cruise or manual. Still the same exact problem. Also, if i doubleclick the JAR file, the java window opens, but firefox doesnt open unless I doubleclick the MS_DOS Batch File also. Tried cleaning out the cache and all of my temp files and everything but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Moo
So I swear I've done everything, and Pandora is saying "grabMp3() complete." but there is nothing in the MP3 folder...
tortdog
MrMath's fix works fine, so far. Not clearing out the cache either.
Moo
"unable to rip MP3 unable to find file make sure you have Pandora running in a FIRFOX browser" I am running it in Firefox, don't know about Firfox, but I don't know why it isn't working... mrmonk
The Jar is working for me again in Cruise Control, but not in Manual. Thanks for the fix, mrmath. I had the same problem. I fixed it in this way: 1) Go to the directory where you installed pandora (es. C:pandora) 2) Open the file named pandoraGrabber.html and replace the functions "downloadMP3" and "downloadMP3response" (those indicated by mrmath) with the new names of the functions you used in pandoraGrabber.js 3) Save the file, close and restart pandora'jar Hope this will help! In case you're doing a "replace all" function make sure to do "downloadMP3response" first so you don't accidentally replace the beginning part of the string when you search for "downloadMP3". Tried just opening the batch and now it doesnt work on manual and on cruise control it gets stuck on "fetching ID3 information and tagging mp3 for artist(artist name) and song(song name)". And then, after the song finishes it hasn't downloaded, the song switches, and it gets stuck at the same spot for the next song. I feel like its close to working, but im not sure what else to fix. You need to edit the javascript file in X:PandorajspandoraGrabber.js where x is the drive you installed Pandora. I didn't edit the .html file and it works for me. cyclocross
MrMonk's fix got my manual grabbing working again. Thanks!! Only odd thing PJ is doing now is when I turn on "Add to iTunes Library" it adds the track and then iTunes automatically starts playing the song. The result is pretty jarring to listen to! For now I simply turn down the volume on iTunes but it would be nice to find a more elegant solution. Any ideas??? Anyone else encountering this??
