Mikwit
Hello guys, I have a pretty basic networking question. Is there a way to have one laptop with a wireless card connect to a network wirelessly and then have a cross over cable connected to another laptop that doesn't have a wireless card, but gets its internet through the other laptop? Sparda
Yep, just bridge the adapters. You may have to manually set the laptop that is connected over the bridged connections (because DHCP on allot of routers is stupid).
Mikwit
okay, so just use a cross over cable and it should work? neat

felony_destined
you spelled daisy chain wrong, I just wanted to say that.
felony_destined
oh yeah, and I dont think that what you just described is called a daisy chain either I could be wrong but I believe that a daisy chain is a chain of devices for ex: hard drive> CDROM> floppy drive> terminator. that are all hooked on the same Scuzzy cable. I dont exactly remember since its been like 2years since I took that basic hardware class
