AndyzBong
I'm in. And since I have already written an article for Analog5; I'm on the score board. This weekend I will write up another article; but me and Famicoman can't write an entire e-zine ourselves. Writing an article for Analog5 would be a great way to earn points. leetninja
Sees like it could be fun .....might enable me to lose my noobness No really I can code somewhat and other things but never really done half of the stuff on the list. Still looks like it could be expensive if you don' have some of that kit to start with. Agreed. This is a great idea! However, I don't have the time or money. Have we figured out how everything is going to be kept track of yet? Not bad, even though 60C can seem like alot, its reasonably cool, I know people who have theres idling at 70-80+.

Then they need to fix their cooling... Not necessarily... even if you have a top of the line zalman, getting 60c is pretty average and rather good. Normally if you clock to that speed stock, you will have it in flames.
VaKo
Hah, 70-80C, won't last that long idling at those speeds. Even my dads 3.4GHz Pentium D barely hits 50 under heavy load.
digip
My cpu runs around 60 all the time. Outsite temp, 44 to 50. Then again, I do have to clean it often because of major dust bunnies. I want to go liquid, but not going to waste the money on this peice of crap Pentium 4. I want a newer AMD, just not sure when they are going to fix that bug in their new quad core Barcelona (http://www.informationweek.com/blog/main/archives/2007/12/bug_in_amds_qua.html). Sparda
My CPU runs at 25C. 70-80 and lasting? I doubt this. That is the heat range of my old Socket A with stock heat sink, it still works.
