Basically, I'm trying to figure out how to install the actual Switchblade package but I can't get it. I checked the wiki, and I'm assuming that each technique is that person's take on making the switchblade. Or is each take a set of payloads? A package is the apps that run and can be compiled into a payload. http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Switchblade_Packages The problem is, a lot of people confuse the two, as a package would refer to a bunch of payloads logically.... But its the other way around, part of the problem is that some people write packages (apps) and call them payloads. Anyways, if you want to make your own (requires time and effort) pick out what packages you want and start writing a file to execute them. If you want to just jump in and run a payload, have a look at GonZor's payload: http://www.users.on.net/~simmo_89/switchblade/tutorial.html The stuff you need to download (We have a gui that controls the app) is on that same site. If you don't have a U3 switchblade and want to use the payload, send me a pm, we have similar instructions for using the payload on non-u3 drives. Mr_Mischif Posted November 29, 2007 Author Share Posted November 29, 2007 Well I have a U3 drive, and I believe I want to install a payload, since I want to get the LSA secrets/Firefox passwords/etc. But when I go to the switchblade page on the wiki, I see the "techniques", and I'm wondering if those are supposed to be the payloads, and if I'm supposed to install those.
