take it take
What do you guys use to rip audio CDs for Windows and that's free? I heard that iTunes is great for that, but I want to avoid installing that thing. I would like something that encodes high quality MP3s with good ID3 tagging system. Thanks. Why install a poor operating system over a good operating system? If you would like to write a full post on why Windows is superior to Linux I can. :-)

MRGRIM
I might be using 11 - if it came down with WUS. I use Winamp for playing stuff - have tried Winamp for ripping many many moons ago (4+ years) worked ok but I'm sure I had one or two issues that forced me to use MPlayer
