We ask this because without it, Macromedia faces the serious problem of having a less stable base and it shorts Linux users. More people are shifting over from Windows to Linux, both corporate and residential, which means that they currently are not enjoying the benefits due to them. Therefore, we ask of you to either produce an official Shockwave Player and plug-in for browsers like Mozilla, or allow us to create one by viewing the source code for the player and plug-in. http://www.petitiononline.com/linuxswp/petition.html Please, if you feel strongly or want to sign please do! I think its a bit out dated anyway. I have tried a few Linux distros and Flash has worked on all if not most of them I tried, either by default or easily fixed through either the browser or update package itself. I know a while back, Adobe released Flash 9 for linux: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/st...sh/English.html They're working on making FLEX for linux too: http://blogs.adobe.com/penguin.swf/ I've been using it for quite some time now.
