hmp406
Although pandora's jam looks badass, I don't want to shell out the cash: It seems the latest version I can find to install for mac os x is 7. 4. 0 but it is not sucessfully displaying all last. fm song stats. Is there any way to upgrade to pandora's jar 8? I used the method in this forum: hxxp: forums. hak5. org/index. php/topic,5884. msg63839. html#msg63839 Thanks, Harrison
Pichet
I think you'll need to execute the v8.1 .EXE self-installer on a Windows system, then you can archive it using an OS X compatible format, i guess. The .sh script file is written for OS X, after all; maybe it will work including the [grab] button?
hal.hockersmith
http://forums.hak5.org/index.php/topic,7413.0.html The Pandora Jar 8.* page has them in zip format now so no need to run the exes. The only trouble is that I am getting an error that says "java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file". I fear that the new version of the Jar requires that there be Java 6 on the computers when they have yet to release that. I am going to inivestigate more but the zip file may work for you. I just attempted to upgrade from 7.4 (which still works).. with 8.1.1 I am getting: $ source pandora.sh Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:620) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:124) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(URLClassLoader.java:260) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$100(URLClassLoader.java:56) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:195) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:268) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319) [1]+ Exit 1 java -jar pandora.jar $port
